Volunteers Needed To Sort Coats for the Children

WRAL-TV's annual Coats for the Children campaign came to a close on December 31, 2004, and volunteers are now needed to sort the many donations made by the community.  CBC'ers, their friends and family members are encouraged to come out and help.

In years past the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, The Healing Place residents, Explorer Post 5, and a host of other individuals and civic groups have helped sort the thousands of coats for the Salvation Army.  CBC employees have donated their time each year as well, bringing along family and friends to help with the monumental task.

Sorting will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2005, from 10:00am-1:00pm at Baker Roofing Warehouse in Raleigh .  Directions are provided below.  To volunteer, please contact Loretta Harper-Arnold via email ( lharper@wral.com ) or voicemail (821-8652).
